- Feeling: anxious, nervous, and impatient (still), yet thankful, gracious, and supported by my readers and your comments
- Thinking: I need better blog fodder but am willing to let the chips fall where they may
- Looking forward to: working with our new realtors. We said “Sayonara!” to our former realtors and are moving on to a new realty team, whom I confident will sell this house!
- Also looking forward to: my good friends’ wedding this weekend, which involves my brother-in-law and mother-in-law visiting, getting dolled-up, and of-course yummy food and open bar!
- Contemplating: upcoming, all day Parent/Teacher Conferences on Friday
- Wondering: how long it will take my darling cats to adjust to our new, automatic litter box (best not be too long, as the house goes back on the market next week!)
- Missing: snow; We’ve had the skimpiest dustings and no “real” snow. Come on now, fluffy accumulated precipitation. Let’s do this, Mother Nature!
- Wanting: dinner to make itself. Beef stew, earn your keep.
- Wishing for more time to: photograph the world
- Drinking: Orange, Pineapple, Banana juice — if you don’t know, you need to know. Get thee to a grocery, stat!
- Enjoying: having a competent, helpful student teacher.
- Listening to: The Lumineers’ Stubborn Love, that Thrift Store song (which I anticipate will be played out by 2/20), & any and all Jack White
- Needing: MOAR SLEEP. always.
Where are you, right now?

Living in our nation's capital allows me to learn something new every day. So does teaching 2nd graders. My nose piercing and tattoos keep me from normalcy, while my job and religion keep me grounded.
