After some mail confusion and patience, Nora received her care-package from the Canine & Kitty Holiday Blogger Gift Exchange!
Cat totally spoiled my pooch! Her dog, Baxter, hooked us up with his favorite treat (and one of Nora’s favs as well): a Big Bite bone. We affectionately call them biscuit bones, but I have no idea why!
Also in the mix were an abundance of holiday treats and a snowman toy! While trying to get Nora to pose for the camera, Mr. Penny Lane came over to express his displeasure with being left out of the fun (and tried to steal a treat or two).
I figured if Nora continued to hide from the camera, at least Pen might step up? Don’t worry, I didn’t let him eat the dog treats. But next year both cats (Penny Lane & Melonball) will participate, as I majorly scored some post-holiday sale items for next year’s swap!
And because I insist on subjecting my poor dog to the camera…
But when she doesn’t know you’re watching/stalking her with the camera…

Also… She finally stopped hoarding the biscuit bone and began eating it. As of yesterday (about a month after starting to chomp on it) she finished it, finally.
Shelter dogs are so weird, but wonderful.

PS: I got a new camera! By selling my Canon Rebel and with some holiday gift help, I upgraded to a Canon 60D and I love it.
I’m still in the learning curve, but can’t wait to share more pictures with you!
